🌟 Midnight Lantern Festival Lights Up Riverside Park

Residents of the city were treated to an unforgettable surprise on Saturday night as Riverside Park transformed into a glowing wonderland during the first-ever Midnight Lantern Festival. What began as a small community art project quickly turned into a magical nighttime celebration, drawing hundreds of visitors from across the city.

Colorful handmade lanterns floated along the river and hung from trees, casting reflections across the water. Local musicians performed acoustic sets, while food stalls stayed open late serving warm drinks and street snacks. Many attendees described the atmosphere as “peaceful,” “dreamlike,” and “straight out of a movie.”

Organizers say the festival was created to encourage creativity, community connection, and safe nighttime use of public spaces. Due to the overwhelming response, plans are already underway to make the festival an annual tradition.
